Tales of the Rays Meets Slayers in a New Collaboration Event

The next Tales of the Rays collaboration is with none other than Slayers, featuring Lina Inverse and friends. Bandai Namco revealed the Slayers crossover with a new trailer as part of the smartphone game’s November preview.

The crossover will bring several main characters from Slayers to Tales of the Rays. Guest characters include Lina Inverse (CV: Megumi Hayashibara), Gourry Gabriev (CV: Yasunori Matsumoto), Zelgadis Greywords (CV: Hikaru Midorikawa), and Amelia Wil Tesla Saillune (CV: Masami Suzuki).

Tales of the Rays x Slayers Collaboration

Furthermore, four Tales of the Rays characters will receive costumes based on characters from Slayers. This includes a Gourry costume for Guy Cecil, an Amelia outfit for Farah Oersted, Xellos’ appearance for Reid Hershel, and Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear as Naga the Serpent.

Bandai Namco will launch a special website for the upcoming Slayers collaboration soon. We’ll hear more about the crossover, including its launch date soon.

Tales of the Rays is available in Japan for iOS and Android devices. The smartphone RPG launched in Japan in February 2017 and in other regions in July 2017. The global version of the game shut down in May 2018, but the game is still live in Japan. We previously saw Slayers appear in a crossover with Square Enix’s Valkyrie Anatomia in 2018 and 2019.
