Otomate is Teasing a New Switch Game Featuring a Popular Artist

Idea Factory’s company Otomate, which specializes in otome game releases, is teasing a new Switch game. The new game will feature artwork by a famous illustrator, according to the first teaser on Otomate’s Twitter.

So far, we haven’t seen a proper teaser image or anything, so we still don’t have any clues on the mystery artist. However, Otomate will release a teaser trailer next week on November 20, 2020, at 5:00 pm JST. The teaser started a countdown which will eventually lead to the full reveal. The first issue of Otomate Smile, which will release on December 5, 2020, will feature a cover image for the new Switch title.

However, we did get a little hint about the new game from Otomate:

The keyword “決別” roughly means a “separation,” “farewell,” or “parting” to give you an idea. The image says “This is a story that leads to the ____ of ____.” It still doesn’t really say much, but with the number seven on the upper-right, we can expect to see several more of these leading up to the teaser trailer reveal next week.

The new game from Otomate is in development for the Nintendo Switch.
