FuRyu is selling 3D models of Rei Hatada and her room from Crystar in order to celebrate the game’s second anniversary. Both models are packed into a set priced at 3,000 yen that will be available for a limited time. The set is currently available at BOOTH until mid-December 2020 and Virtual Market Beta until early January 2021. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The Crystar 3D models are available as Unity package data. The Rei Hatada avatar is set up with Avatars 2.0 and supports lip-sync, shape key, and full tracking. Although her avatar also supports dynamic bone—which has to be purchased separately—it does not support eye-tracking. Also, note that the VRChat setup is only supported on Rei Hatada’s avatar and not in her room.
The 3D model for Rei’s dog Thelema is also available. However, it is not being sold, and it will be given only to five winners of a photo contest using the 3D models of Rei and her room that is currently being held by FuRyu until November 2, 2020.
Crystar is an action RPG that was first released for PlayStation 4 in Japan on October 18, 2018. It was later localized westwards with an additional PC version on August 27, 2019. The game is noted to have crying as its main theme—not only for emotional release but also for gameplay mechanics, such as getting loot.
