The Evangelion 3.0+1.0 release date has finally been confirmed as January 23, 2021. The fourth and final movie in the Rebuild of Evangelion series was first slated for a debut in theaters on June 27, 2020. The release was then delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Originally, fans expected the fourth film sometime back in 2015. However, director Hideaki Anno delayed production due to mental health and his work on Shin Godzilla. The eight-year wait for Anno’s movie is nearly over now. Studio Khara tweeted out a new trailer to commemorate the revised date for the final Evangelion movie.
