Bandai Namco will host a matchmaking stress test for its upcoming online action RPG, Blue Protocol. The stress test will take place on November 7, 2020, and the developers are inviting participants. [Thanks, 4Gamer.]
People interested in signing up for the Blue Protocol matchmaking stress test will be able to do so until October 26, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. JST. The test itself will take place from November 7, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. JST, and it will end at 9:59 p.m. JST, so folks will have about three hours to play.
According to the press release from Bandai Namco, the purpose of this test is to review functions and the renovated matchmaking system, which had various issues in the closed beta test back in April. While this test, in particular, won’t last long, it will have different content from what players saw in the CBT.
Bandai Namco will select a maximum of 15,000 applicants for the stress test. If it goes beyond the 15k applicants, it will switch to a raffle system to decide who participates in the matchmaking stress test.
During the Closed Beta Test in April, about 72% of players completed the main scenario. About 44.7% of the players took on dungeons solo while 29.1% played with the full 6-man party. You can check out some more stats and details in our previous report.
Blue Protocol is in development for PC.
