SSSS.Gridman: Banjou Kessen is a dice-based board game that can be played by up to four players. The players will become the Gridman Alliance and field four out of the seven available characters (Yuta Hibiki, Sho Utsumi, Rikka Takarada, Samurai Calibur, Max, Borr, and Vit). They will fight against multiple kaiju monsters summoned by Akane Shinjo, culminating in the final boss fight against Alexis Kerib.

Events from the anime show, such as encounters with Alexis and the kaiju girl, will be featured in this board game. It will even have special gimmicks as well, such as Akane reducing Yuta’s HP when her piece moves to the same spot as Yuta’s piece. The attack strength on the player’s side will be greatly improved when multiple ally characters fight together.

The board game is suitable for ages 10 and up, and it will take around 20~30 minutes to finish a playthrough. A pack will consist of a board, 72 cards, 8 character pieces, 5 pedestals, 3 cubes, 31 chips, 13 dice, and an instruction manual.

SSSS.Gridman: Banjou Kessen will be sold first at Game Market 2020 Fall, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight on November 14-15, 2020, for 3,000 yen. It will be available gradually at all other stores in Japan from December 2020.
