Marchen Forest’s latest delay is pushing the console versions of the game back again. While you could pick it up on Steam worldwide right now, the other versions won’t make it out in 2020. Instead, PrimaryOrbit said we’ll see the “revamped” Marchen Forest Switch, PS4, and PC versions launch worldwide on January 28, 2021.

Depending on where you live, different buying options will be available though. The physical copies, which will include standard and limited edition versions, will only be available in Japan and Asia. (However, PrimaryOrbit did offer $34.99/¥3,980 and $94.99/¥9,980 price tags for each.) The only bonus item mentioned for the collector’s edition so far is figure that Zero Studio’s Noriyuki Yamaguchi designed. Four preliminary pictures of the Mylne figure were shared.

Here’s a better look at the figure.

People who have played games like Gust’s Atelier series might find the first part of Marchen Forest feeling familiar. During the initial act, players help Mylne become an apothecary. This means you’ll gather materials and fulfill quests. The second act turns it into a more traditional RPG where Mylne fights her way through a dungeon.

Marchen Forest Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC versions will launch worldwide on January 28, 2021, with physical copies launching in Asia. You can find a version of the game immediately on Steam now.
