Fate/Grand Order Waltz Adds OG Saber and a Classic Fate Theme

Fate Grand Order Waltz

One big item on the wishlists of fans of the Fate/Grand Order: Waltz in the Moonlight/Lostroom rhythm game spin-off is this: Let players dance with someone other than Mash Kyrielight. True, she’s the game’s mascot, after all, and everyone’s favorite eggplant-colored kouhai, but having it all be a one-woman show feels like a waste of potential. Well, those prayers have been answered, because the game’s latest update has added none other than the first Fate franchise heroine: The original Saber.

Altria Pendragon (a.k.a. Saber Classic) was added to the game to promote the coming release of the music collection Fate/Grand Order Waltz in the Moonlight/Lostroom song material. Releasing on December 9, 2020, the anthology is a collection of songs from the game, including a new version of the song “THIS ILLUSION.” That song was the very first opening song of the Fate/Stay Night visual novel. Fate/Grand Order Waltz in the Moonlight/Lostroom is available on iOS and Android on a limited basis in Japan.
