There’s a Yakuza: Like a Dragon release date update that might make some people happy. For others, it will mean more of a wait. Originally, only the Xbox Series X version had a November 10, 2020 launch date. Now, it will also come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on that day too. As for the Yakuza: Like a Dragon PS5 version, it won’t be out until March 2, 2021.
The good news is, there will be free upgrade options for the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game. In the case of the Xbox Series X, it will use Smart Delivery to automatically take the Xbox One version to the improved next-gen one. With the PS5 version, digital copies of the PS4 version will basically be cross-buy ones that give people a free digital PS5 copy.
Leading up to the game’s launch, Sega’s been sharing videos of the English voice actors talking about their characters. For example, George Takei, Kaiji Tang, Greg Chun, Elizabeth Maxwell, and Will Yun Lee all talked about their parts.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC (on both the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 PCs and Steam) on November 10, 2020 worldwide. It is immediately available on the PS4 in Japan. The Yakuza: Like a Dragon PS5 version will show up on March 2, 2021.
