Sega’s been sharing behind the scenes videos with Yakuza: Like a Dragon voice actors talking about their characters and roles. The latest involves a supporting cast member with a bit of power behind him. The Yakuza: Like a Dragon Will Yun Lee trailer is all about Masato Arakawa, son of George Takei’s Masumi Arakawa.
Both Ichiban Kasuga and Masato know each other well, thanks to both being under Masumi’s wing. He’s described as leading a “dual life.” He points out the huge consequences of Masato’s actions, while the gameplay footage shows some of the changes he goes through.
While Lee has voiced characters in games before, like Sleeping Dogs’ Wei Shen and Mortal Kombat X’s Kung Lao, he’s best known for his work in TV shows and movies. Some of his most prominent, recent roles include Dr. Alex Park in The Good Doctor, Takeshi Kovacs in Altered Carbon, Danny Woo in Witchblade, and Iori Yagami in The King of Fighters’ 2010 live action movie.
Here’s the full Yakuza: Like a Dragon Will Yun Lee video talking about Masato.
So far, there have been five other videos in this series. The first two talked to Takei and Ichiban’s voice actor, Kaiji Tang. After that, Greg Chun and Elizabeth Maxwell talked about Yu Nanba and Saeko Mukoda. Andrew Morgado’s focused on his role as Koichi Adachi.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon will come to the Xbox Series X on November 10, 2020 and the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 13, 2020. It will also come to the PlayStation 5. It is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 in Japan.
