Well, that didn’t take long. The in-development, prototype images for the items people will find in Japan’s Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity collector’s edition appeared! The official website updated with some samples that provide a better idea of what people can expect from the acrylic art plate, Paraglider blanket, and metal charm that come in this 16,720円 (~$157) bundle.
Here’s the full picture. The acrylic art plate will, as you can see, draw from the key art for the game. (This is the same image that is being used for the box art, though you’ll be able to see more of the picture and Champions on the plate.) The Paraglider blanket looks like the one people could have Link use in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. As for the metal charm, it is the diminutive new character based on the Sheikah Guardian machines that looks to be a mascot aiding Link, Zelda, and the Champions.
Quite a bit of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity news has been appearing as of late. For example, the Japanese Twitter account for the game offered a closer look at both Link and Zelda. In addition to character profiles, it offered looks at both heroes fighting in Hyrule.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will come to the Nintendo Switch on November 20, 2020. That’s the same day Japan’s Treasure Box will be available. An Age of Calamity collector’s edition has yet to be announced for other regions.
