It’s time to check in with Jump Rope Challenge on the Nintendo Switch again. Another free update has arrived. This one’s aimed at people who have been keeping up with the freebie since it launched, though. Basically, Nintendo added a way to check and reset your exercise records. [Thanks, Nintendo Everything!]
Here’s how the new features work. If someone has played for 100 days, they will be able to look back at their progress or reset and start a second batch of 100 days. Considering the game came out on June 15, 2020, people probably haven’t hit that unless they’re time traveling. (It’ll be 100 days old on September 23, 2020.)
This is the second Jump Rope Challenge update so far. The first one, which appeared back in July 2020, added costumes for people to change the rabbits into and backgrounds. For example, you can dress a rabbit up like Mario or Peach. Backgrounds can change how the game looks and sounds, as having the cat one come up will cause a meowing sound effect to play with each jump.
Jump Rope Challenge is available for the Nintendo Switch. Also, as a reminder, it will only be free until September 30, 2020. After that, Nintendo will presumably begin charging for the app.
