The unintentional hero of Pokemon Sword and Shield will be turned into a toy in Japan. A Pokemon Ball Guy plush has been revealed on the official Japanese Pokemon website. It will appear in stores on September 19, 2020. [Thanks, PLDH!]
What’s interesting about the Ball Guy plush is that it will be a posable stuffed toy. So while the promotional image shows it standing tall, it could be manipulated into different positions once you have one in your home. (Perhaps think of it as being somewhat similar to Square Enix’s action doll line.)
The Pokemon Ball Guy isn’t the only plush heading to Japanese stores this September, though. As you probably guessed from the official image shared, there will also be Isle of Armor Pokemon too. Kubfu is getting its own stuffed toy (and looks very determined.) There will also be versions of both its evolved forms, Single Strike Style and Rapid Strike Style Urshifu. Finally, Galarian Slowpoke gets a plush too.
A worldwide release of the Pokemon Ball Guy plush and Isle of Armor toys hasn’t been announced yet. However, all five of these stuffed animals will end up appearing in the Japanese Pokemon Center on September 19, 2020.
