The first highlight in the reveal is the third entry in the Crossing Pilot collaboration series, which will see the Dunbine from Aura Battler Dunbine piloted by Masaki Andoh from The Lord of Elemental. The unique aspect of this collaboration is that the Dunbine attacks by using the Discutter sword from Cybuster, the robot originally piloted by Masaki. The script for this event is written by Masahiko Sakata, the creator of The Lord of Elemental.

While the first collaboration that involved Amuro Ray from Gundam: Char’s Counterattack piloting the Mazinger Z is currently being rerun, Producer Red also revealed that the second event, where Code Geass‘ Lelouch received a customized Gundam from Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz called Wing Gundam Zero Rebellion, will also have a rerun in the coming days.

The next piece of news from the stream is that DD will add Shu Shirakawa’s Granzon for the fourth Conquest Battle event that will replace The Great Battle—the third Conquest Battle featuring Compatible Kaiser—that ends soon in early September. Producer Red also teased even more content coming to DD such as a new story chapter that adds Duo Maxwell’s Gundam Deathscythe Hell, new skills for DD‘s own original characters, and new SSR attacks for GaoGaiGar and Zegapain Altair.

Super Robot Wars DD is available for Android and iOS devices in Japan and East Asia. The next SRW live stream is scheduled for October 2020, which also happens to be the month the other SRW mobile game Super Robot Wars X-Omega celebrates its 5th anniversary. The Super Robot Wars series itself will reach the big 30th anniversary milestone next year in 2021.
