It took a while for him to get here, but the new Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid DLC fighter has arrived. While the Season 3 wave of content was supposed to begin in late June 2020, the first character in the pass is fashionably late. nWay has opened the figurative gates, and people can now get the Jungle Fury Purple Wolf Ranger, Robert “RJ” James.
RJ is from Power Rangers: Jungle Fury. In addition to being a ranger and martial artist, he is the mentor to the Jungle Fury Rangers. Both in the show and game, he relies on Muay Thai for his attacks.
The PlayStation Blog went into detail about some of his abilities. His primary special attack here is Wolf Wheel, which can be used in different ways depending on players’ inputs. He also has a Knee Crush and Wolf Crush Special, and Lunar Cyclone is his Super.
Here’s RJ in action.
In addition to RJ, there’s a new freebie available for all players. The Samurai Megazord Ultra is a new option for players.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. People can get the RJ Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid DLC character for $5.99 alone or pick him up in the $14.99 Season 3 Pass.
