Type-Moon Studio BB just launched a special anniversary website for Fate/Extra which released about 10 years ago in July 2010.
The Fate/Extra 10th anniversary website has a countdown that leads to July 22, 2020. More specifically, the countdown will hit 0n July 22 at 12:00 pm JST. We see X anniversary websites pop up all of the time from Japan, but what makes this one, in particular, a little more interesting is that it has Japanese and English language options for the teaser website. Other than that, it has a link to the official Twitter and official YouTube accounts, but nothing else as far as hints go.
Fate/Extra is a PSP dungeon crawler developed by Type-Moon and Imageepoch. It first released in Japan on July 22, 2010. Aksys Games brought it over to North America the following year on November 21, 2011. Ghostlight published the game in Europe on May 4, 2012. A follow-up companion game called Fate/Extra CCC released in Japan in March 2013 as an alternate route of the Extra story.
Fate/Extella was the third installment of the series which released in Japan in November 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game released in North America and Europe in January 2017, then released Nintendo Switch and PC versions in July 2017 for all three regions. A sequel titled Fate/Extella Link released for the Nintendo Switch in January 2019 in Japan and March 2019 in the West.
Fate/Extra is currently available for the PSP. In case you missed it, Type-Moon Studio BB recently added former Square Enix staff.
