SuperGroupies Okami Sneakers, Jacket, and Umbrella Are on the Way

SuperGroupies Okami items are on the way. Pre-orders have opened for some new clothing and accessory items inspired by the series. Until July 20, 2020, people can call dibs on a pair of Okami sneakers, a (fake) furry outer, and an umbrella. All of them will officially launch in Fall 2020. WorldShopping international shipping is available for the products.

Each of the items maintains Amaterasu’s white, red, and black color scheme, with references to the symbol on her head, the flowers that appear behind her when she runs, the sun, and her traveling companion Issun on each piece of clothing or accessory.

The fuzzy Supergroupies Okami jacket is basically a light jacket in her signature color schemes. Men’s and women’s sizes will be available, with each one costing ¥22,800 (~$212). It will ship out at the end of October 2020.

The Okami sneakers incorporate the same sorts of details, but in different places. The gym shoe’s tongue has the same symbol as the one on Amaterasu’s forehead, and the Issun tag is nearby on the side of the shoe. On the sole, you have the pattern showing Amaterasu running among the flowers. Pairs cost ¥10,800 (~$100) and run from 22.5cm (about a women’s size 5 and 1/2 in American shoes or 35.5 in European shoes) to 27.5cm (about a men’s size 9.5 in American shoes or 43 in European shoes). Standard and fuzzy white laces are included.

As for the Okami umbrella, it has Amaterasu running among the clouds. The trim is red with white stripes and runs around the border, while the print inspired by the game appears on the rest of the umbrella in varying shades of white, cream, and ivory. When you have it closed, you see can Amaterasu sleeping with Issun by her side on the strap. It will cost ¥6,800 (~$63) and be available in early November 2020.

The new SuperGroupies Okami blouson and sneakers will arrive sometime at the end of October 2020, while the umbrella will appear at the beginning of November 2020. Past collaborations involved Romancing SaGa, Code Vein, and Fire Emblem
