There’s a 1-2-punch of new Crash Bandicoot game information out there, and both have appeared as a result of leaks. As found by StrawHatRy and noted by Broski on Twitter, a GameStop promotional email confirmed the game will have around 100 levels for people to go through. Then, as caught by VG24/7, a Microsoft Store product page mentioned “in-app purchases.”

With regards to the Crash Bandicoot 4 levels, the email doesn’t give an exact figure. Rather, it hints at the number people will be able to go through. The exact description reads, “Full sequel with 100+ levels of play, new game modes, and new abilities for innovative gameplay.” We already knew from the reveal that Dr. Neo Cortex has his own levels, as the description noted that his are built around his unique skills.

The GameStop email also revealed another Crash Bandicoot 4 preorder item in addition to the PlayStation Store Totally Tubular Skins for Crash and Coco. People who commit to a GameStop physical copy will get a themed minute glass timer hourglass. It will be able to pick up alongside the game on October 2, 2020.

As for the Crash Bandicoot 4 in-app purchases, there’s no official confirmation of them yet and the ESRB description for the game doesn’t have the “In-Game Purchases” notation. However, the page does mention “offers in-app purchases” below the pre-order button. It has also been established that there will, at the very least, be costume pre-order DLC.
