Ghost of Tsushima, the upcoming game about one lone samurai’s journey of revenge to take back the island of Tsushima from invading Mongols, has gone gold. The title is currently set to release next month on July 17, 2020. The announcement was made earlier via Sucker Punch Games’ official Twitter account, and the studio tweeted out a picture showing off many of the game’s creators.

The game focuses on the journey of Jin Sakai, a survivor of a massacre against the Mongol forces who decides to recapture the island. Players are able to play Jin as either a proper Samurai who fights head-on with lethal katana skills or as the Ghost, who uses fear, surprise, and any method he can use to his advantage. The game is made so that it feels like you’re playing a samurai movie, and you can see the influence everywhere. For example, it has a dramatic wind blow past (which also guides you along a course to notable objectives), but also smaller things like being able to add filters and title cards to your photos and video clips.

Ghost of Tsushima will come to the PlayStation 4 on July 17, 2020. As a reminder, Japanese and English voice acting options will be available.
