The official website for Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road just launched and someone found a logo of ‘Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory’ in the site data. [Thanks, /u/Skullboj via Kingdom Hearts Insider.]
The above is a look at the Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory logo found on the Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road website. The user who discovered the logo through dev mode as a possibly hidden file in the website header. So far we don’t have any other clues as to what it could be, so anything from a music-related project to a possible new rhythm game for smartphones. In any case, it seems related to Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road in some way. The Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory logo doesn’t appear on the website for the time being, but perhaps we’ll hear more about it from Square Enix in the near future.
Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road was originally planned for launch in Spring 2020 through Kingdom Hearts Union χ. However, it was delayed last month past its Spring 2020 launch window, and we’re currently waiting for a new release date. We recently got a good look with new screenshots that showed the likes of Xehanort, Eraqus, and a mysterious cloaked figure. We also got a look at four new characters named Urd, Vor, Bragi, and Hermod that we’ll meet in Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road here. You can also check here for a look at the new key art featuring the four.
Kingdom Hearts Union χ is currently available for iOS and Android.
