Director Neil Druckmann will be hosting the showcase. It will be around 20 minutes long, with around eight minutes of previously unrevealed gameplay. Additionally, Sony has confirmed beforehand that, no, there will be no news on the PlayStation 5 in this State of Play.

The Last of Us Part II focuses on a grown-up Ellie and her struggles in the post-apocalyptic world, although her father figure Joel will still play a prominent role in the game. As a reminder, be very cautious when looking up this game online, as The Last of Us Part II spoilers are everywhere due to leaks. That said, more story details are likely to be revealed during the State of Play deep dive.

The Last of Us Part II will come to the PlayStation 4 on June 19, 2020. It was bumped back from a May 29, 2020 release date prior to that. If you haven’t already, you can check out the Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Pro bundle that’s set to come out on the same day as the game.
