Summer Game Fest Will Run From May to August 2020

Geoff Keighley and The Game Awards’ Summer Game Fest has been officially unveiled and is about to begin. Its official website and social media accounts have opened ahead of the beginning of the online-only event that will bring with it news, announcements, events within existing games, and “playable content.” While no events have begin yet, things will be happening between May and August 2020.

While the full schedule for the Summer Game Fest isn’t live yet, the official Twitter account has shared the lineup for the first phase of the event. Games aren’t mentioned, but all the developers and publishers that will be participating in it are. Here’s the full list of companies that will have games for people to see.

This is something that The Game Awards and Keighley have been building up to. For example, The Game Awards 2019 had The Game Festival begin alongside it on December 12, 2019. The Steam Game Festival Spring Edition launched in March 2020. We also already know that The Steam Game Festival Summer Edition will run from June 9-14, 2020, when E3 2020 would have been held.

The Summer Game Fest will run from May until August 2020. People can sign up at the official website to be emailed when a schedule is available.
