People who were hoping for a digital Bethesda showcase video in June 2020 shouldn’t expect any kind of briefing. The company won’t hold any presentation online. Senior Vice President of Global Marketing & Communications Pete Hines announced on Twitter that the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has put a halt to that kind of briefing.
However, Hines’ announcement doesn’t mean there are no reveals coming from the company. There just won’t be a Bethesda showcase in that particular month. He did note that “in the coming months” there will be news about new Bethesda games.
Here’s Hines’ full announcement.
Given the many challenges we’re facing due to the pandemic, we will not host a digital Showcase in June. We have lots of exciting things to share about our games and look forward to telling you more in the coming months.

While there won’t be any Bethesda showcase in June to make up for E3 2020’s cancellation, other companies have confirmed they have plans. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft will still have their media briefings. While Nintendo and Square Enix don’t have exact plans yet, they will each also still be showing off games.
E3 2020 would have been held June 9-11, 2020, but was canceled due to the pandemic. E3 2021 is currently set for June 2021.
