Bleach series creator Tite Kubo’s one-shot manga Burn The Witch is getting an anime film adaptation this fall. We got a first look with a teaser trailer from Bandai Namco Arts.
Check out the new teaser trailer for Burn The Witch‘s upcoming animated film below:
Burn The Witch first appeared as a one-shot manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2018. The story revolves around Noel Niihashi and Spangle Ninii, two witches who work for the Western Branch of Soul Society in Reverse London. The teaser trailer shows a first look at the film produced by Studio Colorido. The director is Tatsuro Kawano. Furthermore, voice talent includes Yuina Yamada for Noel Niihashi and Asami Tano for Spangle Ninii.
Additionally, Burn The Witch will get a short serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump sometime this summer. Tite Kubo mentioned in V-Jump that he considered making a sequel to the one-shot manga for fun and thought about only letting his family read it. However, after getting convinced by his editor it ended up getting set for a new serialization and anime film.
Burn The Witch will premiere in Japan in Fall 2020. We’re also getting a new Bleach anime covering the Thousand-Year Blood War in 2021.
