Taito has announced that they are making a sequel to Darius Cozmic Collection, tentatively titled Darius Cozmic Collection 2, which will release in Winter 2020. No platforms have been announced yet. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The first Darius Cozmic Collection released on the Nintendo Switch in 2019 as a collection of arcade ports developed by M2. There was also a Special Edition focused around collecting the console versions of games in the series. The announcement of the sequel came alongside new trailers released for the PlayStation 4 version of Darius Cozmic Collection. That is releasing separately as Arcade Version and Consumer Version, with each focusing on arcade and console titles much like the Switch’s Normal and Limited Edition.
