Get your best March of Mobility together, because we’re about to enter the action. The Patapon 2 Remastered release date has been revealed. On January 30, 2020, the updated PlayStation 4 version of the game will arrive in both North America and Europe. It will only be available through the PlayStation Store and will cost $14.99.
Patapon 2 Remastered has been a long time coming. The prettier port was first announced all the way back in December 2017, not long after the original Patapon ended up making its PlayStation 4 debut. However, there has been radio silence since then. The only real reference to it in the meantime was a leak that showed its icon was added to the PlayStation Store.
Like the original Patapon, Patapon 2 Remastered sees the Patapons and Zigotons attempting to reach Earthend. Unfortunately, new enemies and tribes are trying to get in their way. It is twice the size of the original game and introduces new units like the Hero and mechanics like the Patagate. The PlayStation 4 version has been updated so it is now a 4K remaster.
Patapon 2 Remastered will come to the PlayStation 4 on January 30, 2020. It is immediately available on the PlayStation Portable. Patapon Remastered launched on the PlayStation 4 back in August 2017.
