Koei Tecmo and Gust released a new trailer for their upcoming Fairy Tail RPG that takes us on a tour of Magnolia.
In the video, we get to see Natsu, Lucy, and Wendy show key areas of Magnolia. The town used to house the strongest Guild in Fiore, Fairy Tail. However, things changed after Acnologia attacked Tenrou Island and caused most of Fairy Tail’s top members to disappear for seven years. Since then, the position has been taken over by the Legal Guild, Twilight Ogre.
The game takes us through the Tenrou Island arc as well as the Grand Magic Games and Tartaros arcs. The plot focuses mostly on the time period about halfway through the anime. This is around the time the Fairy Tail guild nearly saw its demise after the mysterious absence of Natsu’s party.
Fairy Tail releases for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Japan on March 19, 2020. It releases in North America and Europe on March 20, 2020. Unfortunately for fans who were hoping for English dubs, the game will only have Japanese voice acting.
