Two upcoming Build-a-Bear Pokemon plushes have been announced. On the European and US product pages for the new Flareon bundle, a teaser image is included. It shows the Build-a-Bear Eevee alongside all three of its eeveelutions. It says Jolteon will appear in Summer 2020, followed by Vaporeon in late Summer 2020.
No prototypes of the two additional Build-a-Bear Pokemon plushes were shared. However, both the Eevee and Flareon stuffed toys get most of the important details right. With the Flareon, a slightly longer fur is used for its mane and tail, to give the impression that it is on fire. The Jolteon and Vaporeon will each likely have different fabrics used for the collars around their necks and other accents.
The Build-a-Bear Pokemon run has been a long one. Ever since Pikachu’s launch in 2016, the retailer has regularly offered up new characters and designs. In 2019 alone, Psyduck and Snubbull were released alongside the Detective Pikachu movie and followed by Snorlax and Pichu. While some are available on a regular basis, like Pikachu and Eevee, ones like Alolan Vulpix, Bulbasaur, Jigglypuff, Piplup, and Vulpix weren’t restocked after their initial run. They tend to run about $28/£21.50 for the animal alone, there have been instances like the larger-than-usual Snorlax, which cost more money.
