For those unfamiliar with this critically acclaimed visual novel, Baldr Sky  takes place in a futuristic world where people implant brain chips into themselves to escape off to virtual worlds crafted by AI technology, but this backfires on protagonist Kou Kadokura when he wakes up with barely any memories, and must piece together his past and purpose while keeping the political forces that control the dystopian Suzushiro City at bay.

This English release of Baldr Sky includes both games, being Baldr Sky Dive1 “Lost Memory” and Baldr Sky Dive2 “Recordare”. Apart from the main visual novel story segments, there are also top-down mecha action sections where Kou pilots a simulacrum mech against virus-infected simulacrum.
