The Elder Scrolls: Blades not only missed its Fall 2019 release window for the Nintendo Switch. It has been completely pushed into the new year. In its latest update on it, Bethesda confirmed the new release window will be early 2020. Apparently the delay was caused by general changes being made to the game, which meant the Nintendo Switch version needs extra time.
The Elder Scrolls: Blades is a free-to-play, first-person action-RPG. Set after the Great War, players step into the shoes of a former Blade. The necromancer Sorcerer King Celemaril Light-Bringer has been set free and is ruining what was left of your already destroyed hometown. It is up to players to fight back by going through dungeons and taking missions. PVP is being added to the mobile version in early December 2019, letting folks fight in the Arena. (When the Nintendo Switch version launches, PVP cross-play will be supported.)
In case you’d forgotten, here’s what The Elder Scrolls: Blades Nintendo Switch version will look like.
The Elder Scrolls: Blades is immediately available on Android and Apple iOS devices. It will come to the Nintendo Switch in early 2020, complete with optional motion controls.
