Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Will Let You Forge Defender Weapons In December

Capcom revealed that they will be adding a new set of ‘Defender’ series weapons for each weapon type as part of the free update for December.

These are returning weapons from previous games, so they might look familiar to returning players. They are meant to go along with the Guardian series armor that was given out upon the release of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne – and like the Guardian armor, these weapons are good enough to help players finish the main Monster Hunter World story and get to the Iceborne content of the game.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It releases for PC on January 9, 2020.
