Today, Yacht Club Games held a Nintendo Direct-esque presentation where they revealed new updates to Shovel Knight, a new trailer for expansion King of Cards, and the extra spinoff Shovel Knight Showdown. They also revealed Shovel Knight Dig, a spinoff that is being developed by Nitrome.

Finally, the Shovel Knight amiibo for Plague Knight, Specter Knight, and King Knight have been detailed. They will unlock new platforming challenges, new fairies, and new costumes. The amiibo release this December.
Shovel Knight is available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, and PC. The physical edition of Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is coming out for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch in December 2019 with Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Shovel Knight Showdown also set to come out on the same day. The amiibo will also release in December 2019.
