Overlord Is Getting A New Smartphone RPG Called Mass for the Dead In Japan On February 21

Develoer Exys announced that the dark fantasy light novel series, Overlord, is getting a new smartphone RPG called Mass for the Dead in Japan on February 21, 2019.

Mass for the Dead tells an original story that takes place in Overlord, with a turn-based battle system and 3D battles with all kinds of different skills. The game features many familiar characters who come with their own scenario you can unlock, plus work from numerous well-known voice actors.

The game has reached  500,000 pre-registrations so players will be getting 1,100 gems to start. After launching on February 21, the multiplayer function will be added on the next day on February 22, 2019. There’s a planned maintenance from 2:00pm to 4:00pm JST on March 26, followed by its version 1.1.0 update on March 4.

Mass for the Dead launches in Japan on February 21, 2019 for iOS and Android. Pre-registration is available for iOS.
