Fans of K-pop may want to make time to watch the League of Legends 2018 World Finals opening ceremony. Riot Games kicked things off with an augmented reality concert. In the game, Riot had created a fake K-pop group called K/DA with the heroines Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa as members of the group. For the opening ceremony, (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon and Soyeon, Jaira Burns, and Madison Beer performed the original song “Pop/Stars,” which is said to be K/DA’s hit, for the first time while holograms of the League of Legends characters appeared.

(G)I-DLE first made its debut on May 2, 2018. In addition to Miyeon and Soyeon, it includes Minnie, Shuhua, Soojin, and Yuqi. The group’s songs include “I am,” “Hann (Alone),” and “Latata.”
In addition to the concert performance, an animated official music video starring K/DA was released for “POP/STARS.” K/DA skins have also been released in the League Store. You can only get the K/DA Kai’Sa Prestige Edition skin that has a unique loading screen boarder, splash art, and VFX until November 19, 2018 however. The “POP/STARS” song can be purchased from digital storefronts like Google Play and iTunes for $1.29.
