Nekopara On PS4 Removes Jiggle Physics Slider And Bathing Scenes Are Steamier Than Ever

Sony’s new policy has been a hot topic as of late, and fans are starting to see more of its effects with the release of Nekopara Vol. 1 for PS4 today in Japan that saw some changes from the Switch version. [Thanks, Hachima.]

As soon as Nekopara for PS4 released in Japan, fans looked out for any differences from the Switch version that released in early July. [Note: Some of the comparison images below are NSFW.]

One of the most noticeable changes was the removal of the “Chest Bounciness” option. As you can see in the above image, the Switch version has it on the bottom while the PS4 version’s has it omitted. This option determines how sensitive a bust will move with the physics while in motion. It can be disabled.

The “Petting” feature has not been removed on PS4.

There aren’t any extra sunrays added as promised by Neko Works.

However, the bathing scene CGs have noticeably more steam on the PS4 versions as you can see in the above examples that show the PS4 version on top and the Switch version on the bottom.

Prior to the release of Nekopara Vol. 1 on PS4, a fan tweeted “If the official Nekopara Twitter says there won’t be any white rays on the PS4 version, why was it delayed then?” to which Neko Works representative Sayori responded “Please consider the possibilities of having those white rays had it not been delayed.”
