Apart from the gameplay systems, Project Judge also went over some of the supporting characters we’ll see Detective Yagami interact with, such as his former colleagues and current coworker. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Seidou Shintani (Actor: Takuya Kirimoto)
“Just so you know, you won’t be winning every case. I’m just reminding you, as your senior… hey, are you listening?”
A lawyer working for the Genda Law Offices, who lords over Yagami because of his seniority. He acts this way towards people he sees as weaker, but acts meekly in front of people who are more powerful than him.
Saori Kinosaki (Actress: Yuko Kaida)
“The client is Shinpei Okubo. It seems he’s been arrested for murder.”
A lawyer working at Genda Law Offices, Kinosaki speaks quickly and concisely, and maintains a cool-headed, professional attitude. She’s quite quiet and works at her own pace, and will speak her mind when she feels the need to, no matter who she’s talking to.
Shouji Kaitou (Actor: Shinshu Fuji)
“Alright, go for it, Ta-bou. Don’t screw up now!”
Although he’s an investigator working for Yagami Detective Agency, he’s actually older than Yagami. He is a former member of the Matsugane Family of yakuza who worked under the Tojo Clan. He speaks loudly and in a brusque manner, but is straightforward and doesn’t mean harm. Yagami and Shouji have known each other for a long time, and he calls Yagami “Ta-bou” as a nickname.
He’s sort of hiding the fact that he was expelled from the Matsugane Family .
Project Judge launches in Japan, Asia, and South Korea on December 13, 2018 for PlayStation 4. The game launches in the West in 2019.
