Monster Hunter: World Reaches 8.3 Million In Worldwide Shipments And Digital Sales

Capcom shared its consolidated results for the three months ended June 30, 2018 that came with a new milestone for Monster Hunter: World which has surpassed the 8 million marker.

 

In the press release, Capcom announced that the consolidated business results for the three months ended June 30, 2018, net sales saw an increase of 46.5%, with operating income up 550.8% year-over-year.

 

After closing its most profitable first quarter since Capcom began disclosing quarterly results, the company aims to achieve six consecutive years of operating income growth and most profitable full-year of all time.

 

Monster Hunter: World has played a big role in its profits and has achieved cumulative sales of 8.3 million units total. Back in May the figure was at 7.9 million, so it continues selling well, and we can expect to see more after its PC release on August 9, 2018.

 

Monster Hunter: World is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
