Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp 1.6 Update Will Increase A Level Cap

Nintendo is preparing a 1.6.0 update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. While all of the exact additions and improvements are not available, a tease was posted in the game to give people an idea of what to expect. Most importantly, the level cap for animal friendships will be increasing. They will max out at 25, rather than 20, after the patch is released.

Some other animal options will be adjusted as quality of life improvements. For example, skip functions will be added that allow you to entirely avoid the friendship level up animation or fast-forward through conversations. Animals’ theme will be shown on their contact main page. You will also get more sorting options for your contacts.

Other sorting options are coming too. In the clothing and furniture categories, people will have new ways to sort the items they own.

Finally, more bugs, fish species and shells will be coming to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Nintendo has not said exactly what kinds will appear, but these new critters and items will be found at Lost Lure Creek, Saltwater Shores and Sunburst Island.
