Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker got a new trailer today that details the various modes available in the game, as well as new courses based off Super Mario Odyssey’s Sand Kingdom, Cascade Kingdom, and Luncheon Kingdom.
While Sand Kingdom seems to be a regular stage, Cascade Kingdom’s level is a minecart stage, and Luncheon Kingdom features Captain Toad facing off against the Cookatiel.
The trailer doesn’t explicitly state this, but the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS versions of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker also have the Pixel Toad hunt missions playable without the use of the Toad amiibo.

Nintendo also uploaded a new trailer today that showed off which amiibos are compatible with the game. The Super Mario Odyssey line of amiibo will immediately unlock the Super Mario Odyssey levels to play, while the Toad amiibo will give players an Invincibility Shroom to destroy enemies with.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will be headed to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS with additional Super Mario Odyssey-inspired levels. The base game is currently available on Nintendo Wii U.
