Cain might wish to simply be left alone, but a chance encounter with a girl claiming to be a phoenix sets off a story of teenage life and deadly magical battles in visual novel Ignis Avis Venatio.
Players will follow Cain’s encounters with the magical students and their familiars, as well as his own dealings with the phoenix girl, as players work their way through Ignis Avis Venatio’s storyline. Having been thrust into this battle, though, it will be up to the player to help him decide who to fight, or if he should be fighting anyone at all.
Ignis Avis Venatio offers a coming of age story that is “light hearted” despite its focus on teens fighting to the death using magic.
