Source Gaming recently translated several details from the newly released The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: Master Works. According to Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma, work on the next title in the series has begun.

While this may not be a surprise, it is still a solid confirmation from the man himself. Source Gaming also posted and described various concepts from the development phase of Breath of the Wild.

According to the book, the Shiekah Slate was codenamed “Conductor”, and had several unused ideas, such as being able to deploy a dragonfly-shaped drone. It originally also may also have had limited powers that required refills through battery cartridges.

Originally, there was going to be a Kokiri tribe Champion, who was eventually replaced with the Rito Champion Revali. Revali, on the other hand, had more of a gunslinger look. The Zora were also more traditionally designed, like in previous Zelda games.
