In a new video on the Nintendo Australia/New Zealand channel, Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma appeared to thank fans for their support and promote the upcoming amiibo of the Champions. He also announced that the upcoming DLC starring the Champions is still slated to come out before 2018.
The Champion’s Ballad DLC is the second DLC Pack in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s season pass. Not much is known about the DLC other than that the Champions feature in a major way, and that you still play as Link.
Siliconera also previously reported on what the Champions amiibo, announced together with the DLC, can unlock for players of Breath of the Wild.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is currently available for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii U.
