By The Man in the Red Mask is causing bloodshed across Chicago with his gang of carnival-themed thugs, and as FBI analyst Jordan Adalien, it’s up to the player to stop them in neon noir adventure game My Eyes On You. However, how players choose to stop them may have an effect on how the case plays out.
It’s not long into the case before Jordan finds himself framed and betrayed, leaving him without much help as he tries to avoid masked thugs and make his way through the murky, yet neon-soaked underworld looking for answers. Players will be in charge of how this investigation goes, picking up evidence on their own and choosing which pieces to process and follow up on. Based on these decisions, My Eyes On You’s can shift between a more mystical narrative or a grounded one, offering several takes on events.
Being hunted by a masked gang tends to erode one’s abilities to think clearly, and Jordan suffers from these same problems. While avoiding the gang, or in other stressful situations, anxiety will affect Jordan’s abilities and create unsettling hallucinations, making it difficult to tell if what he is seeing is real.
