By Psychic schoolgirls are being studied by an evil organization in order to create an artificial girl with ultimate power. Players, in controlling Ruri and Erika, are tasked with setting out to stop them, beating their minions in fast-paced arena combat in 3D action game The Initial.
The Initial takes the player to SPE, a school for girls gifted with ESP (and who are also skilled fighters). The school is under attack as the organization seeks data on their fighting techniques for their experiment, so players will give them more than enough to work with using the two playable characters.
Battling through an array of arenas throughout the school, players will use each character’s unique set of combos and unlockable abilities to cut down all resistance. Sword and electrical abilities offer a variety of combat options, which will be handy when opponents are just as capable of blocking, dodging, or using their own special powers as well. Players will want to watch out for traps throughout each arena as well, as combat moves quite quickly, with enemies and players hurtling around each other, making it easy to stumble into hazards.
