As A Cute Ghost, Help Other Phantoms Find Peace & Enlightenment In Aftertile

As an adorable phantom known as Ghosty Ghost, players must find the source of discord in an eternal resting place for ghosts in Aftertile.

Aftertile calls itself a “floatvania” game, as while the hero will be exploring in a Metroidvania style, its ability to float through the air and pass through walls makes travelling and puzzles somewhat different than other entries in the genre.

Ghosty Ghost will use these powers to help other ghosts reach a place of peace in this game. Taking place on the Ever-Floating Comet, a world where ghosts come to find their own specific niche and seek eternal peace, Aftertile will have players seeking the source of discord and evil creatures that have disrupted the thoughtful place.

Aftertile shows hints of Buddhist inspiration in its story, meaning, and play. The full game is currently in development, with the previous game jam version made available through IndieDB.
