Our Own Storm puts players on both sides of a conflict on a besieged island, having them switch roles with their killer every time they die.
Players will take on different roles as they play Our Own Storm, living through the violence that has affected the island. Every time someone on the opposing side kills them, though, they will become the character that killed them. The player has no ability to harm others, though, and can only experience the constant switch back and forth between sides.
Our Own Storm, which is in development with no set release date, is designed around compassion, putting players in the shoes of the enemies they are used to shooting. Through switching back and forth, it hopes to show players that both sides have their own desires and lives.
