Cellpop Goes Out At Night, a mini-sequel to surreal, strange action RPG The Real Texas, casts players as a floating alien eye that just wants life to go back to normal after some other members of its kind go mysteriously missing.

The Real Texas was a purposely strange adventure filled with bizarre characters and surreal occurrences, and Cellpop Goes Out At Night offers more of the same. The story on its store page is cryptic, stating:

“Two years ago the comms were cut to Kad, the shopping mall you grew up at. That’s when the trains stopped running, too; nobody’s heard anything from The City since then, and there haven’t been any visitors either.

But it’s ok– sooner or later things will get back to normal. And Mom and Melia built a fence to keep everyone safe too, so now no-one else should disappear, too.”

Cellpop Goes Out At Night is equally unclear on how it plays, only offering a few rules to players. It expects them to have fun with the alien’s friend, Sokpop, listen to your mother, behave yourself, avoid your older brother, stay in the fence in your yard, and be home in time for bed.
