Dragon Quest VII Shows Off A Mini Boss Battle At Hyper Japan Festival 2016

Hyper Japan Festival 2016 recently took place over in London, and Nintendo shared a demonstration of Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. You can watch the demonstration below.

In the video we get a look at a bit of the gameplay from the upcoming 3DS title, including a battle with some normal enemies and a mini boss battle with the characters facing off against a Stone Golem. The game’s StreetPass functionality was also briefly touched on which will allow players to obtain more stone tablets that unlock additional dungeons.

Dragon Quest VII will release for the Nintendo 3DS on September 16th.
