While Horace Oinkstein may be able to use stealth to avoid his enemies through much of adventure RPG Pigsodus, should he get caught, he’ll have to fight using minigame-based combat.
One such minigame plays out like a cartoon scrap, with Horace disappearing into a cloud of smoke when he gets into a fight with an enemy. Once, there, players can choose different tactics to whittle down their opponent, assisting it by spelling out the comic-book style word sound effects that appear in the cloud.
Players can unlock new abilities as they gain achievements throughout the game. These will do many things, like helping Horace do a better job of hunting down secret items with his snout, as well as give him boosts in combat.
A Kickstarter campaign has begun to assist with Pigsodus’ development. Interested players can also find a demo for the game on the crowdfunding site.
