MMORPG Tycoon 2 gives players access to a 200 square kilometer territory, letting them fill it with towns, wildlife, enemies, NPCs with quests, and all manner of other things to keep their simulated subscribers happy.
Players are given unlimited freedom to tweak the rules and game world of MMORPG Tycoon 2. They can create a game without combat, or one that bans players who have died in the game. They can also control every aspect of character creation, nerfing or overpowering any given class as they see fit.
Players also have control over how they treat their simulated customers, giving them the game for free, charging them a set fee, or riddling it with microtransactions. They can also adjust these pricings as they desire, shifting the pay scheme to see which works best.
The digital players won’t blindly tolerate the changing prices and altered features, though. They will express their displeasure online, demanding features or just complaining in general over what the player does with the game.
When not tweaking features, players can also adjust the game world as they like, creating towns, dungeons, and zones, crafting the world to their liking.
MMORPG Tycoon 2 is seeking votes on Steam Greenlight for an expected release mid-2017.
